Planning every little detail for my wedding day certainly got a bit tedious. It was a very exciting time, and I loved getting to hunt for the perfect accessories and bridesmaids gifts, but I felt a bit lost on where to start looking. Today I am sharing photos of all of the little details leading up to the ceremony and reception as well as my accessories for the perfect bridal look! Hoping I can help ease some stress off of other brides-to-be on where to look for their dream wedding necessities.
My beautiful bouquet is something I keep falling more and more in love with every time I look at our photos! I wanted a cascading look with a bit of greenery popping out, and they delivered my vision perfectly! Serving Hands created the bouquet as well as all of our other centerpieces and touches at the ceremony and reception.
I wasn't sure if I wanted the above hanger with my new last name on my wedding day as every other bride seems to be doing these days, but after looking at how cheap you can find them on Etsy, I decided why the heck not? Glad I did now that we are seeing pictures. I had a great time personalizing it!
I found my wedding shoes at trusty ol' DSW. Absolutely adored these heels and they did not cost an arm and a leg either! They were the perfect height since Karson and I are just about eye level when standing together, and I loved that the gold was not too flashy. The cute bow detail didn't hurt either ;) Click here for a similar style on their website!
Originally we had planned for Karson to make the save the date, invitations and any other wedding stationary needed. My mom quickly changed that when she insisted we go look at an invitation place just for fun one day and I found the most perfect invites! All credit for the save the dates, programs, rehearsal dinner invites and place cards go to my graphic designer husband. But these beautiful gold foil invites with a navy trim on the edges (hard to see here) are from The Inviting Place. The inner envelope even had gold foil polka dots on them! Also, the calligraphy shown above was done by a close family friend who did a fantastic job, Caitlin Sullivan.
Navy has been a color I've been obsessed with since last summer, when I decided I must have it for my bridesmaids dresses!
As soon as I found the beautiful dress above from Nordstrom, I knew my shopping was done. Not only is Nordstrom a great place to get nice dresses, but if the size your bridesmaids order doesn't fit, it is so easy to exchange for another one! They have the best customer service!
Loved the above style because it went with my formal theme, but can be worn for holiday parties or even hemmed into a shorter dress for future weddings to wear again!

Had to throw in a picture of my handsome husband prepping for the ceremony as well :)
April with Faccia Bella made all of the girls look beautiful! Almost too beautiful... it's suppose to be all about the bride right? :) Only kidding!
We all loved the makeup and would highly recommend getting airbrush to help it last all night long!

I had the CUTEST flower girl and I don't think anyone at the wedding would disagree. She was the life of the party! My cousin and I shared pictures back and forth before we found the adorable style for her daughter above. As you can tell from the pictures, Adele loved it! I found her flower crown on this Etsy shop to surprise her with as well!
Loved how all of our robes looked in the final pictures! You can find where I got these in my previous bridal luncheon post!
The most important purchase of all... my wedding gown! My mom, the girls and I had the most wonderful experience at Lulu's Bridal Salon in Dallas, TX. Great service, wide range of price points, and you get your own private room with your group. Now I just need to come up with an excuse to wear this beauty again!
The final touch was my garter! I decided to go with a fun out of the box style here since everything else was pretty traditional. I of course had to go with gold and it covered my something blue as well :) Yet again, Etsy is where I found this item! That website was a life saver and wallet reliever.
Next up, the first look!
Keep an eye out for a post on ceremony details I plan to share ahead!
I unfortunately did not have photos of the girls getting their hair done, but I want to give a shout out to my friends Emily and Tara at the Swanky Scissor for making all of our locks look b-e-a-utiful!
All photo credit goes to Atria Creative on today's post. We absolutely loved working with Blake and his team! The pictures turned out beautifully.
